What s a good price for 07 TT with 20k miles?
mdc,
My vantage is doing just fine for a couple of more days. Sold it and I think I will regret it big time. Still the best looking car out there no matter what everyone thinks
. Have had zero problems with it and would've kept it if it had 4 seats... Aston needs to improve their Warranty and step up to at least 4 years 50k miles to be able to compete with the similar category luxury sports, or simply offer a CPO program.

Just got rid of an 04 Vanquish before I picked up my 997 and I really did like the looks and ride of the car but performance wise they are just way under the bar. Drove a friends new DBS and while it felt like I was in a luxurious version of an F1 face car it just didn't come close to having the price/performance ratio anywhere close to where a car in that price range should be. Mean looking and sounding car though.
Siglo,
Very true. They are sharp looking cars and not too many on the roads for sure. My Vantage was the only one in Montana as far as I know, and every time I took it out I felt like I was inside a fish tank... By the way when did you get the 997? I am seriously thinking about this: http://www.mckennaporsche.com/invent...maxYear=&t=U&d=&
for $78,000. Factory warranty is done in December (in service date 12/2006) and CPO kicks in for another 2 years... The 26k on the clock is the only factor stopping me from making the offer. There are plenty of nice 997's out there but none with such a low asking price. What you think?

You OK with tip?
There is a HUGE stigma here and in the market in general about mileage. Bottom line is if you are planning on keeping the car then don't fret about the mileage as these cars are tanks and if you surf around these forums you'll see members with 30 & 40k + miles on their TTs and even with mods they are going strong. There is no right and wrong and it's always nice to score a low mile car but I would never pay a large premium for low miles because I buy my cars to DRIVE and drive them I do. There are many who just like having thought of the car in the garage and are torn if they should put on "too many" miles or just save the car for that perfect weekend day. Hell I'm in So Cal and 80% of the year is a perfect day.
It's good to check for overlaps but to be honest if you have an extended warranty then it's not much of an issue anyway. I bought my car 3 weeks ago and I'd take the thing to costco if I could stack boxes on the roof like a safari elephant. In my case I found the absolute perfect car for me with options exactly as I would order them. Your car looks great and if it's all you want, small things aside, I think picking up a TT in the 70's is great! Keep me posted.

Lexart,
I understand that the tiptronic is not SMG or the Aston's Sportshift but I have a prosthetic which makes it very hard to shift. I love manuals and I had my share of them in my twenties... not anymore. If it is as bad as some people describe it, I might go with a Maserati GT which has the ZF box. But frankly, the 911 has been my dream car since I was 10 back in the good old Transylvania

I dont know the story on this car, but amazing price. My guess is that it is a rebuild.

I was looking at a very nice 07 TT loaded with tip and silver in colour, had 19K and it sold for 75K!!! I was too slow on that deal
Got to be very carefull out there as people will scam the shirt of your back!!! $75k for a tip and 19k miles sounds like a dream!!!! Besides autotrader, cars.com and ebay, where else should I look for deals?
I found mine on DuPont Registry (online).

I have no qualms with my tip other than in non-sport mode it can lug around town in too high of gear. However, I drive with the car in manual mode 95% of the time, and I don't have any problem with all the "lag" that people seem to describe. Keep it in the proper gear and its very responsive. Shift manually to kick it down and it is every bit as fast as I would be with a manual. I like the tranny because the thing is bullet proof proven tech and in reality works very very well.

If the tranny was as bad as the 6-speed fan boys seem to say, it wouldn't sell. Oddly enough there are a ton of tip cars out there. And I would wager that the vast majority of tip owners also previously owned MT cars (me included).
