Question PROBLEM w/ BRAKES, Please HELP!!!

So I had a Toyota/Prius moment last night and my brakes somewhat went out on me. Basically I'm exiting the freeway and noticing my brakes are not gripping as they should. Turn the corner and need to yield and my brake pedal is hard to compress, feels like theres a shoe or something lodge underneath... Got it home in one piece and checked the brake fluid just to make sure its not empty and looks to be fine. I of course call the dealership this morning and they told me to have it towed in immidiately so I am awaiting the tow as I am typing this. Anyone have any clue on what it might be? Basically it feels like the brake pedal is stuck and is extremely hard to compress (I can push down a feel millimeters at most)....

My car is an 09 TT w/ 6000 miles w/ EVO STG II Kit and 20" wheels. I'm hoping the dealership is not going to blame any of my mods (software, wheels, suspension) for the cause, but I was thinking I should remove my wheels/spacers/longer bolts just incase

Sounds like a problem with the fluid flow. Maybe the master cylinder went bad.

thanks for the input. does anyone think I should remove my aftermarket wheels just incase? Don't wanna get a call from the dealer saying that the wheels/spacers/or longer bolts caused a brake failure and that I am responsible for $

I'd be hard pressed to figure wheels would have anything to do with it, unless there was some binding earlier...how long have those wheels been on?

Sounds like electrical, or fluid, or master cylinder failure.

Any fluids on the garage floor?

Was it raining?

Doubtful that any of your mods are going to affect your brake warranty, even in a mod unfriendly dealership.

wheels been on for about 1500 miles. No rain, but it's been 100+ weather lately. No fluids either, first thing I checked. Guess I will have to wait for the dealers response. Was towed this afternoon and dealer said they should be able to look at it Friday...

Sounds like the vacuum booster is not working. That will cause a dead hard pedal. I cant be anything else really. If you've had fluid loss then you will have no pedal....to floor.

Update

So got a call from the dealership and they basically said a pump/sleeve had cracked forcing my brakes not to work correctly. Said it was basically manual brakes with out any assistance and thats why it felt hard as a rock and nearly impossible to come to a complete stop. Asked if I should have seen any fluids or prior symptoms and they said no it was all internal and it was nothing that I did, just a bad part...

The bad news is that the engine has to be taken completely out and something about camshaft/camtiming needs to be re-done afterwards. I'm still in a little shock that the engine has to come out and happy as hell that all of this will be covered under warranty

They will get me a P-Loaner car shortly and get me out of this Enterprise econ box pos, but all of this had me wondering. What would Porsche have done if I was going a little faster and couldn't stop... Would they have stepped up like Toyota

Re-do cam timing for a brake fix? Sounds odd, maybe they found another issue with the car?

i think they were saying that the broken part requires the engine to come out to replace it and the cams need to "re-timed" due to the removal or something of the sort...

Well as far as I know, and I could be wrong here, but you do not have to take the engine apart because of a brake issue, or even take the cams out or anything like that.

Niello Porsche in Rocklin CA. I'm assuming the pumps are in the engine bay area correct? I'll be back up there today or tomorrow to pick up my loaner and will take pics if they allow it and clarify what part actually broke.
