I've seen people argue this to no end...do we break in the engine, do we drive it like we stole it right out of the showroom. Does break in affect engine performance, oil consumption, etc.

I'd like to collect a little data from members here...specifically, if you own a Porsche with a Mezger GT1 block (GT2, GT3, -2009 Turbo) please vote in the above poll. Please click all that apply.

Thanks.

Please remove my vote. I did not read all of your message and didn't realize I don't apply.

My vote was for follow break in ... no burning of oil.

looser ring gaps for turbo motors in general, and you should ask guys if there motor is built or not as that could be a even bigger ring gap and effect results of the vote.
