We ran a 10.6 on our mild tune with the stock clutches barely hanging on. We are going to be re testing on our new PDK clutch upgrade shortly.

LSs1Power is infamous around these parts
What is the maximum power that a PDK can handle? Any reported failures so far?

Luis,
It was an independent test conducted by Excellence magazine. I will see if I can scan the article and post it into the thread.

The stock PDK clutches handle up to the 565 WHP range and then they start showing signs of slip.

Yes, I actually read that article, but did not see if it was done at an actual NHRA drag strip vs driftobox etc. While driftboxes are great for 60-130 runs (as long as the incline/decline are within an acceptable ranges) there is more of an error factor when doing 1/4 mile runs which can vary by a few tenths of a second and a couple mph in the trap.
It would be intersting to know where Excellence did this independent test.

Excellence conducted this test on the back straight of PBIR. Most tuners are currently at the 10.6-10.8sec ( 0-60 times ) and will be limited to these numbers until the PDK clutch upgrade is complete.

That's correct. That 10.7 was my first time driving the PDK as well, so somebody with some experience could probably improve on my time just the way the car sits.

Sounds close to what EVOMS ran.. Have to see if Todd posts up the best time in theirs at a 1/4 mile track..

The 10.7 run on the list under "EVOMS" was actually driven by me. Todd didn't drive that day but he had not driven it that fast in the 1/4 yet.
As far as I'm concerned, nobody has improved my time from May of this year with that car. Todd was here that day but was busy with Sloss's GT2.
