Getting on board the 997TT train!
She's a beauty. Congratulations.
Not to put a damper on things but I have heard about situations where a seller has modded a car with upgraded ICs, turbos, tune, etc...only to strip these parts when selling the car. The car is still tuned for 700 hp but the parts just aren't there. Not saying this applies to your case but it has happened recently so just beware. And yes the car was sold through a "reputable" dealership.

In the particular case I was referring to, it wasn't the dealer who stripped the car. It was the previous owner who sold it to the dealer. When I saw all the other upgrades besides the stage 1 ECU tune, that's what came to mind. Call me paranoid or whatever. Stuff like this does happen so it is good to know the complete history of the car whenever possible. Just say'n...

...or dealer buys car at auction. The car was built by the previous owner. Before unloading the car, the previous owner, strips out the tubos, ICs, injectors, etc...and returns car back to "stock" except for the tune. Dealer unknowingly sells car as "stock". Buyer unknowingly could be driving around with 700 race tune on pump fuel. This is clearly not the case here but you get my point...

I asked about the original owner. They said it was a local attorney that had also been a previous customer. Hoping the situation you describe is not the case here. Anyway, I would probably be able to get things 'put right' legally.
Nice car, but the wheels gots to go!
TTdude brings up a interesting point, many a turbo has been modded, later stripped down and sold, leaving in a bad flash. Probably why many would stay clear of any modded cars in general, more fun to do your own anyway...
Not the case with your car, he's just making a point.
Enjoy!

'Grats SB! I'll echo others' sentiment and lose the wheels. Good choice on the future interior upgrades: Techart wheel is one of the best mods I've done so far and carbon bits add that little 'pizzazz'
And FYI, exterior color is black, not 'black metallic'. There is no metallic flake in Porsche black.

Ok. Just noticed this. I think this Turbo is optioned for the rear wiper. The rear window shows a circular piece that resembles the base of the rear wiper. Did you see that?

The car is actually Basalt Black Metallic. At least I think that's what I read. Isn't there metallic flake in that?
See! Freebies already.

Maybe it's a GPS antenna for a 9500ci custom install!!
I was the first to question the wheels. I figure I'll withold final judgement until I see them in person. Sometimes pictures just don't do a car justice.

Yep, point well taken.
