Getting on board the 997TT train!
Getting on board the 997TT train!
So I finally pulled the trigger on a 'proper' Porsche to sit next to my '05 Cayenne TT. I was going to wait to post until it was sitting in my garage but I'm just so damn excited to be part of the club. I'm hoping it will be here within 1.5 weeks. It's coming from Texas. Bought her sight-unseen just like I did my Cayenne. If you can't trust dealerships who can you trust, right?
I seriously look at pictures of it every day! I would post pictures that I have but don't think I'm allowed to since they have the name of the dealership in the background. Maybe I'll do a little photoshop touchup. Anyways, the car is:
2007 Turbo
17k miles
Basalt Black Metallic/Black

Hehe! I know this car! You bought a gorgeous Turbo! Congratulations! I would definitely keep the Maya wheels on there. They look great. If you want to give it a more aggressive look, then go for some HRE P40's. Most of the cars this dealership has look perfect. I'm sure this one will be no different. I'm so glad it went to a 6speed member! Just to be sure, this car is coming from Dallas, right?

Yeah, from Dallas
Glad to hear they have a great reputation.Secretly, I'm hoping the car has a full header-back exhaust and even more suspension work that maybe isn't listed.
Anybody know what a Evomsit Stage 1 consists of and what kind of power it would put down? Their website doesn't show a dyno that I could find.

That would be a nice little surprise! When will you be taking delivery of the car? From doing a little research, it just looks like an ECU tune that adds around 75 hp and 70 tq on 91 octane fuel. Here is the link to the site where I found the information. Please double check these figures with someone else as I am not 100% sure these are accurate.

Hmmm, this really has me thinking now. Seems as the Stage 2 has the blowoff bypass valves and exhaust plus a little more aggressive tune. Since my car has these plus an upgraded clutch there might be more there...yeah baby!
