wheel repair

I have a cracked 19" Champion RG5 wheel and i want to know if its repairable or not. Any advice on who to call?

If the damage is not too extensive, it ought to be repairable.
Call Champion perhaps?

you can have it repaired. they will reshape it, weld it, sand it. however, some people claim that the wheel is not structurally strong enough for track days after repaired. i dont know if you do track or not but thats something to consider.

is the crack on the lip or spoke? is your RG5 3 pc? If it's 3 pc, you may be able to order the cracked part itself from champion.

I've had a lot of wheels repaired over the years without issue. Chips, dings and curb rash are one thing, a crack in a forged wheel is something else. I think you're gonna have to replace it.

A decent wheel repair company will advise you if a wheel is repairable or not. Post pics and some of our sponsors could chime in.
