Sport exhaust ?
Sport exhaust ?
Hello everyone,
For some time I read your posts very interesting, so I ask you a question, I plan to change the exhaust on my 997 mk1 TT of 12/2008 and currently has 10,000 kms.
In a stainless steel sport exhaust in order (FVD, Cargraphic, Europipe .....??)
On the same occasion I say why not change the original exhaust by changing only the catalysts (as Ruf) I think.
What do you think?
Why change a complete exhaust stainless?
I searched the site and I found nothing on this mdification (Style Ruf).
I made this text translation thanks to google, thank you not to pay attention to the error of language ...
Thank you in advance

The Ruf exhaust swaps the internals to 70mm piping and 100 cell cats. You could fabricate set of cats for the stock exhaust, cut and reweld the cats...but why bother when there are very good aftermarket replacements.
@europeankar: Europipe. Very simple really...
@ Tiptro:

Hello;
Thank you for your responses and opinions, I still think about it, it is true that Belgium is not very far ... it is a travel idea!
I'm on Youtube right now, I look at all the videos I can, to get an idea.
Here in France we are limited in decibels for the circuit, so it's hard to find the right exhaust.
Good day and good luck to all!

Bonjour Tiptro ,
You are very welcome for a visit here in Antwerp. You can drive our 997 Turbo demo and we can do a side by side comparisation test around town and on the highway.
Cheers , Stef

Hello Tiptro ,
Try to hear all the different sport exhausts in real life first.
We have many 997 Turbo customers in the South of France so let me know if I can help.
Also , don't rush. What sounds good within the first 10 minutes might no longer sound great after 1 hour of driving.
But whatever exhaust you'll end up buying , enjoy your car and Vive Le Sport ! Oh sorry , that's the Renault ad
Cheers , Stef

Hi Stef,
Thank you for your reply.
you have contacts in the south of France (Department: 13,30,84,83,06) I'm rather, I am sometimes at Paul Ricard and other circuit and I listen to different exhaust but unexceptional for the time being.
I continue to search.
Thank you kindly ; )
