TTS or GT3 RS Help!!

I recently totalled my 2010 GT3 and am debating what to do next. I have a TTS on order and was going to sell my DD and just run with the TTS as DD and occasional track use.

However, there is a little voice inside that keeps whispering you won't be happy with TTS so go get a GT3 RS. Having never owned a TT, any advice on the choice would be appreciated

Buy the turbo...do some mods...and you will be amazed. You can have a 997.1 or .2 perform better and be quicker then a 2010 GT2/RS for less money if you option out your car wisely. I waited 2 years for my 07 GT3 RS to come in...once it finally arrived in spring of 08 my dealer decided he wanted 35K over plus greed tax on the full amount...not to mention they sat on my down payment for over 2 years...I told them to keep it and ordered a 09TT from Champion MotorsSports built to my specs/mods...I absolutely love the car. Had I taken delivery of my 08 RS (Black & Orange) I seriously think I would have sold it already due to boredom/overkill for around town use and attention. My TT has seen more track use then street use...these cars are/can be serious understated sleepers, which to me is even more appealing.

Good luck in making your decision...the new RS’s are nice...but would you want to drive it to work every day???

the TT is a all rounder car. u track it. u dd it. and u can take ur family out with it. while the gt3 is ur own personal character that lies beneath it, hence, both super nice cars, both has totally diffrent driving charactaristics. do u really wana go back to driving a cup car or a DD that does both?

The question is how did you like the GT3? That would really be the deciding factor. The Turbo is faster in a straight line, but the RS is all about track work. The power delivery is also completely different. 8K+ RPM Redline vs. TQ monster. There is no wrong answer and they are both great cars.

I use my 996TT as a DD and heavy track use (20+ days/year) car. It does an excellent job of both. I've talked with GT3 RS owners and they couldn't see using a GT3 RS as a DD.
