09 C4S or 08 Turbo

I have driven both but cant make up my mind. Here are the details:

09 C4S, 4k miles, PDK, full leather, loaded. 3.5 years of warranty

08 Turbo, 4k miles, Tip, CPO. 3 years of warranty.

Car will be daily driver. Turbo is 10,000 more.

Funny how the 997 Turbo forum people say get turbo and the 997 forum people say get the C4S!

Pretty much what I figured.

based off your previous cars, i would go for the turbo. however, if you're not much of a speed demon, i would go for the 4s.

Looks like you already had a 997 CS… are you looking at an 09 because you want the PDK and some of the misc updates?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I would go for the turbo… both have 4k miles and similar warranty coverage… what you’d being given up in updates in the PDK and other items you’d more than get in return from owning one of the strongest sports cars on the road. In my opinion, the turbo is stunning to look at compared to the other models offered too. <o></o>

Hey… at least you’re fortunate to be able to have the choice between two sweet rides many would love to have. <o></o>

Good Luck <o></o>

Pretty much. As a daily driver I think PDK may be better and I like the idea of having XM/Bluetooth as well. <o></o>

The C4S is really not that special. The Turbo is in a class by itself, far more power, better looks and is a great street car. If you drove both, the Turbo will get your attention. The acceleration is unbelieveable. I wouldn't let 10K be the final factor, you only live once

That’s understandable. Not sure how a ‘08 could be updated and what the cost would be for XM/Bluetooth capability. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Your question and comments are very valid. It’s interesting to read posts and perspective about the creature comforts versus the all out rush from the turbo. Typically in this forum discussion centers around making an already great car even faster. I sometimes don’t even turn the radio on, have only used the wipers once, never used the navigation, and don’t have any discs in my 6-disc changer I paid for as an option. <o></o>

The money really isnt a factor. At that price point whats another 10k.

If money wasnt a factor at all then it would be easy- 2010/11 Turbo PDK.
