I got my eye on it...
3% on build 4-5% on showroom floor should be no problem.
Looks great Ted.
I wonder why it was specced with the turbo wheels not the spider wheels, which come standard on the Turbo S?
Also, I personally prefer the paddle shift steering on the PDK cars, not the multifunction one.
If it's specced to your taste and the price is right, go for it! You'll love it!
Good luck,
Karim

Just my humble opinion........the car is missing three "must have" options (it's beyond me why they would be missing on an S)
1-paddle shifters
2-Adaptive sport seats
3-Center-lock wheels
again, just my opinion, if your going to spend this kind of money your Turbo should have those options...

Thanks guys. The lack of the above listed options is bugging me too, probably will hold off. FYI, there are going to be more turbo S's coming over in the coming months including some "non S" turbos. Oddly the latter will be sold as 2011's.

Swapping the steering wheel is no problem with a paddle shifter wheel. I agree that this should be a must have option.
The centerlock wheels are personal opinion. If you can live with the pain in the butt factor if you have a flat and have the tools to remove them they are probably better. There are a few threads on this.
Most of the S's that we looked at had the vented seats which this car seems to have. I don't think you can get the sport seats with this option, which is why many cars come with the 12 way power seats.
If you like the car, you may be able to get a better price if you express your concerns.

I agree but the red/beige concerns me too due to potentially poor resale. Now that Porsche is releasing more cars I'm probably just going to wait and find a better combo if not a Cab instead.
So if I added the paddles and wheels do you think red is going to hurt the resale? I mean these days its not like blue or yellow is it? Funny how it hasn't been as popular as of late, sure is good looking in person.
Thanks for the guidance!

Some of the nicest looking cars on the forum are red.
I wouldn't want to buy a new car with not my first choice of color, and later, each time I saw someone else's car, with the color I really wanted in the first place, drive by me
I'd be thinking to myself, darn, I wish I had bought that color.
If it's the color for you, don't hesitate to pull the trigger on a red car.
When the time for resale comes, I am sure you can find a buyer that is looking for a red turbo specifically.
As to this particular car, I would have personally preferred a black interior with the red exterior. But that's just my taste, not necessarily yours.

I agree that the paddle shifters are essential for this car. I find the shifting must easier with paddles. Love that red color though! If you're spending $170k on the car, it should be exactly what you want!
Prolly cuz the turbo s only comes in pdk. I'm sure a good lot of people still want the dinosaur tech manual
