Why is it that......

There are 3 types of cars that always seem to want to show how fast they are when I'm driving the Turbo.

1. Trucks with loud aftermarket exhausts

2. Infinity G series

3. Mustangs

Bizarre

Let me add some Audi A6 drivers to the list. I've seen many of them pulling aggressive jacka$$ maneuvers like they've got something to prove.

Add AMG drivers to the list! When I had my M6, i would run into this same guy every morning who had something to prove for like 2 weeks straight...one day I hit the "M button" and left him in the dust... just could not imagine the turbo in that situation!

The G37 is nothing to worry about, my wife's MBZ could smoke that thing without trying....

Trucks:??? LOL Who knows what those guys are thinking.... LOL

Mustangs? Usually owned by kids who can't afford a Corvette so chalk it up to age.

I have to laugh at the trucks - I get more truck challenges than anything else - I just shake my head!

Which AMG? I'm thinking most 5.5L and 6.3L E-series would give you a run for the money in a stock M6.

But don't we also want to show of a little bit? Isn't that one reason (of many) why we're driving a 911TT?

I've seen plenty of turbo diesels running in the mid-low 12's on the track. A missed shift in the 911 and you've lost a short race.

I had a Hyundai try and race me on the freeway while test driving a TT, didn't last long.

For the short time I've had my car, I'd have to agree with the Wheel Dynamics and the G37 challenges. A lot of G37s in the northern VA area.

I agree on the Mustangs, G37 Infiniti's, and idiots in their big trucks. The best part is that I didn't even need my 997tt to leave all of them in my rear view mirror. I hate wasting expensive race gas on those cars, so I smoked them all with my Panamera 4S. You should have seen the look on the Mustang GT's driver at the next stop light.

Not worried about it.....I don't even acknowledge that they are there and I just let them floor it and waste their gas.....just find it stupidly amusing

Not in the sense that I am going to race some idiot from one light to the next....I actually feel secure enough with the power it has to just laugh at them and let them go on their way. When you know you have all that power I don't feel the need to show them.
