Hello there guys...I just finished installation of Speedtech 3 inch X cellerator exhaust at my 997TT and went for a test drive...The exhaust is slightly louder than my previous remus exhaust without any drone...sound quality is very good and level is not annoying...throttle response is better and the turbos seem to spool faster...But the great news is the sound when boosting at WOT...wow...you can raise the deads from the sound of the turbos...simply amazing...good job John...
P.S. the car seems faster throughout the whole RPM range...when weather cools down i will try to beat my best 60-130 and 100-200 times...

 

I'm glad to hear you are so pleased with it - I felt very confident you would like it, as I often hear back from customers that the performance and sound of our X-cellerator cross-flow system far exceeded their expectations. As for the WOT GT3-like wail...I run the same X-flow design system on my 996TT and did the testing of the 997TT version, so I am very familiar with it and I can assure you it never gets old!

For anyone interested in this system, Skandalis has our X-cellerator 3.0 moderate loud cross-flow system, which is full 3" throughout, but re-uses the OEM tips, which necks it down a bit at the tips. He is considering the optional "loud" 3.0 dual 3" tips, which would make it a full 3" system and really raise the dead :-)
