Lowering without loosing ride comfort
i have h&r s but was wondering if coil overs would give a softer ride and keep same ride height ?
With coil overs your can pretty much choose your shock setting and spring weight so you options are endless.
The gmg springs are an awesome setup. In fact I had them, tried coilovers, and promptly went back. They will drop the car exactly 20mm, no more/no less...ever. the HRs will be more like 30mm and a lot softer, not good imo.
They are that good.
1000$ labor is cheap if it includes a good alignment, imo.

I had the opportunity of directly comparing the H&R lowering springs on a local friend's car vs my stock suspension. No doubt about it the lowered car LOOKED way
better and more aggressive. Although it's not a drastic change I could notice the bumps and "slaps" on the road irregularities a lot more on the H&R car. Enough so that I decided against "upgrading" at this time. My car is a dd and I quite like the ride quality of the "soft" setting and the sport setting is fine on good roads.
I went to the track for the first time and have to say that the sport setting was fine. Sure, the "pros" might like a better suspension setup but for me it was awesome. I'm still considering the GMG springs and sways as a future upgrade...
