What is your expectation when you say "factory ride?"

Mine came lowered on TechArt springs so I don't really know what stock feels like. All I can say is it isn't nearly as harsh as some of the other lowered cars I've had in the past. In fact, I regularly have the car in sport mode b/c the normal setting is too 'bouncy'.

I do plan on getting coilovers though...

My gmg springs are comfy in soft shock setting, less jarring than stock in firm setting.
They work better than the stock springs in both settings.

H&R springs lower the ride and it seems extremely close to stock ride quality to me

When I first took delivery I was highly dissapointed in the handling and the way the Turbo rode. Soft was too spongey with brake dive and squat under acceleration. Hit sport mode and the car felt like it had no shocks and springs were 10x stiffer.

The GMG springs fixed all those problems, if you want something close to stock ride but added handling and ride benefits I highly suggest them.

I personally wish I had a bit more adjustability - with stock shocks you can only do so much with aftermarket springs - so will probably installs KW3 sooner or later. Im confident the 'just right' setting could be found with those guys on a mostly street driven / weekend car.

Mine came with H&R springs and when compared against the 997tt I test drove, I'd have to say that there wasn't much difference in ride quality.

Slightly off topic but what are you guys paying for spring install? My dealer wants $1000 for labor. I am not sure if that even includes a four wheels alignment.

How much does GMG drop vs. H&R?
