Kill number 2!!!!
Some of us in kuwait can't afford to take our cars to bahrain as often as we would like to.
We make do with the best we have, an arrow straight, not often used , well lit road, and past midnight.
just as the drivers know the risks with speeding, the spectators know the risk with watching.
because its not sanctioned its not going to have anyone telling anyone to wear helmets but to be honest its alot better than when people race on major highways in traffic.
If anyone ever decides to build a racetrack out here 3/4 of the street races would stop.

As long as that track is open until 4am every night.
Between distracted drivers (texting drivers, talking on phone, etc..), drunk drivers, sleepy drivers, big-rigs (that kill or injure 150k people per year in the US), I always have to shake my head at people who complain about the danger of street racers...who in reality, comprise only 0.3% of all fatal accidents in the US. I bet that number is very similar in the middle-east.
Do I think what the guys are doing the above video is safe? Absolutely not. I think it's pretty f'ing stupid to race that close to pedestrians and parked vehicles. But in the big scheme of dangerous driving activities that occur every day in both the middle-east in the US, it's overall impact (no pun intended) is so small, it's almost worth not having a discussion about.
To all of you guys preaching against street racing; if you are so concerned about public safety, get off your high-horse and start taking action against the driving activities that I mentioned above; those that actually constitute a statistically valid danger to society.
FYI; 80% of all accidents in the US are thought to be caused by distracted drivers: http://www.automobile.com/distracted...accidents.html
Big-rigs cause app. 150,000 deaths and injuries per year: http://www.saferoads.org/issues/fs-t...verfatigue.htm
Alcohol related fatalities in 2008, 13,846 (total fatalities in 2008 was 37,261): http://www.alcoholalert.com/drunk-dr...tatistics.html
Street Racing deaths in the US: 135 (0.3% of all traffic related fatalities): http://www.examiner.com/sports-car-i...ing-statistics

If you dont mind me asking which kuwaiti members got killed....their nicks? I missed that. Were they in the same car together or racing one another in a situation like this?
Looking at that race, agree it does look extremely risky. I hope that we get to see any "kill number 3 vid" in a less risky situation.....
Appreciate the vids but i'm sure 6speeders don't want you kuwaiti guys dying in the process
....stay a llittle safer next time heh

I guess the obligatory "6 speedonline does not condone street racing of any kind" needs to be added here. I don't think the discussion of this kind of activity is harmful...the videos are up on youtube anyway...and in the past we have been helpful to law enforcement by allowing posts of this kind

(Yes, I know that is a completely different ministry)
I race there too. and yes the crowds do get worrying sometimes.
Most of the accidents happen when the cops show up really. street racing accidents are rare in kuwait. last time I heard of a racing crash was a year ago. I think that was the only fatal race/crash ive ever heard of.

Basel there's Bobyan high way its one of the best highways in GCC !
[quote=Basel;3040828]nope, no better roads, this is literally the best lit, straightest, flattest, cleanest and least travelled highway in Kuwait. the road in the video that is.
I race there too. and yes the crowds do get worrying sometimes.

The crowds should be more than just worried after seeing that crazy drifting youtube.
Its like they have offered themselves as a form of traction.

I can see it now.....all the Kuwaiti police forces are all flat strap tying up and lashing all the **** pervs 24/7....365. I hear over there you get somethin like 100 lashes if caught doing stuff like that.....or stoned etc.
