Do you have any pics of the head unit installed?

That is the new head unit. I can post clearer pix later. I was given the silver Porsche trim along with the head unit. It ended up being a pretty good match with the factory trim.

It Looks great. My 09 has black trim so I may just by the kit from Suncoast.

I'm probably going to do the install myself. I just have to decide what is the best head unit on the market, so I'll throw that question out to all the 6speeders in a separate thread.

Pics of Alpine install

Here are a couple of pics of the Alpine head unit with custom black leather surround. Sorry about the quality...taken with my Blackberry in poor light. It really does look great and works very well!

Do you have to change the amp if you put in an aftermarket headunit?

That's a nice system. You might consider painting your Kenwood bezel to match the rest of the surround. Here's what I did with my Kenwood DNX 9140.

For the KRX3s were you able to use the stock door locations? I know that the VR3s have a shallow mount mid driver that can fit in the stock location. But is that also true for the KRX3s?
