Aftermarket radio...Anyone install one yet?

I've been thinking of switching out the radio in the car...The Navi in these cars are slow and hard to input destinations while driving...I would like to have a touch screen interface...Also a good bluetooth wood be nice as well as an Ipod hook up or aux jack...It's a pain to put your sim card in the dash to use as a phone...I have sirius sat radio right now intergrated into the stock stereo but sometimes when I start the car, it gives me a blank screen and I'm unable to change stations unless I turn the car off for 10 secs and restart...Just wondering what everyone is using for an aftermarket unit and if they can post some pics and impressions on what they like/dislike about the unit...I've seen some use a Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT....

I'm thinking that Pioneer link might be helpful to some others as well. Namely me

You have an '09 with the new PCM and you want to change out?

I'm just extremely frustrated that Porsche locks down the PCM 3 to VIN numbers so there is no way to upgrade integrated to a different PCM 3 with integrated XM satellite. I'm also frustrated that all three "external" ports: aux, USB and iPod all use the same channel so there is no way to have three device or even two devices plugged in at the same time without getting feedback from the othe channels. Very poor design.

I don't know if the 997 is better but the 996 speakers aren't the best. The premium Bose system sounds worse than my old civic

I have done the Alpine INA-W900BT with custom install including black leather surround that looks factory great. Seamless Nav, bluetooth, sat radio, Ipod. Also has available inputs for other things such as backup camera etc. which I have not done. Is awesome!

I have the new pioneer unit and it isn't that great. the bluetooth is not clear to the person your talking to and the nav is touch screen but not really that easy to use. it also couldn't find the very first address i tried to enter. I also got the HD tuner and the signal strength is not very strong. Forget about listening to AM talk radio. Only thing good is it looks pretty nice.

I think the 997 bose system is pretty good...I've had a few people ask if I put a system in before...It's not the best but for factory it decent!

I changed out my system this past fall. I got a got a good deal on a Kenwood touch screen with DVD, built-in Garmin Navigation, iPod, and bluetooth. I used JL amps and sub along with Focal speakers in the front and rear.
