possible to convert to PDK?

Hey folks!

I know this may a big hassle like most of you are in states. It's easier to just trade in the cars. Here in Asia, the cars costs a lot more. Is it possible to convert my 6 speed to PDK?

If driving a 6speed is too difficult in heavy Taipei traffic, consider getting rid of the hydraulic assist. While the pedal feel is heavier, you will be able to do stop and go much easier.

What do you mean getting rid of it? is this why my hydraulic system is messed up?

You can buy a kit to eliminate the hydraulic assist. The pedal feel will become significantly stiffer, identiacal to the GT2 and GT3, but the engagement will be much more forgiving and predictable.

If there is a GT2/GT3/GT3RS in your area, try it before you consider the conversion. There is a trade off...stiffer pedal takes a few weeks to get used to. Engagement, however, is much better - plus, you will never have a leaking hydraulic again.

1) You can't do it for too many reasons to list.

2) Even if you could do it -- the vehicle ID number shows a 6 speed so any other transmission would raise so many resale red flags that you'd get nothing .

you might want to consider a second car. this would make the driving experience of the Porsche much more enjoyable and you could keep your car a 6 speed. there worth much more when it comes to re-sale, and much better to drive... i drive a prius on the weekdays... just a thought...
