give me your honest opinion
Those P47's have a similar look to the wheels AMG used for years. I like the look myself.
I think everyone has the right idea about painting the lower edges and maybe lowering the car. You'll have a look that is all yours and not everyone else (with P40's).

They look good! Keep 'em.
But if you want to sell them. let me know.
P40s are way overdone, nothing special about them at all. They are not even that light. You'll also see tons in the FS section, that should tell you something. I like a 5 spoke wheel myself, try something from champion.
Paint it before lowering it tho. You can then always put on a nice front lip at a later stage without wiping it out over every single ripple in the road, unless of course you do a nose lift kit once you lower it
. Keeps it usable as a DD..
I have to say that the phone pictures do not do it justice; the back wheel is flush with the fenders. Thanks for all the feedback; I was hesitant with the P47's because they do look stock but once they were on the car, it does look good. Good thing I have a week to think about it. Keep giving me feedback, if you don't mind. I want to stay with HRE's Mono's either way because of their proven history and quality; at least that's the feedback I get from reading most of these threads about HRE's.
P40-S and go with satin silver or tinted brushed
Im pretty sure what is throwing the whole look out is that the car is blacked out under the sills, front lip and rear lip valance....that is making the car look unusually high. I really think the car needs to be painted in these areas. The car not painted out in the lower areas is giving an odd look .
Is this because the TT is white and has these particular rims or do you think this applies to all Turbos ?
I have a 997.2TT GT Silver/Balck with Turbo II wheels. Can't decide whether to keep the bottom pieces OEM black (which hides any nicks or scrapes) or paint GT Silver.
