It could be my imagination but even at the softest setting on the both adjustments, those seats felt smaller than the standard seats.

So two questions...
  1. Are the Adaptive Sports seats narrower or tighter at "full soft" than the standard seats (not regular Sport seats)?
  2. Are the Carrera Adaptive Sports seats any different than the TT Adaptive Sport seats?
I thought I posted this question many months ago but I've looked through my history of questions (so many of the them) and didn't find an answer. I also tried a site search without any results.
If you belong to Renntech.org you can download the order guides. 08 Turbo and Carerra have same option code and same description for adaptive sport seats:
P01 Adaptive Sports Seats
Sport seats with electric adjustment for all seat functions,
adjustable side bolsters, memory function for seat, and mirrors.
Includes lumbar adjustment on driver side. Seatbacks in Volcano
Grey.

ans 1: Only if you have a really big butt. You'll want the extra support of the adaptive side bolsters to keep you from sliding around in the seat. IMO, the best compromise seat available from Porsche.

ans 2: Nope, the same.

I believe they are the same. Go with the Adaptive's. I had regular in my '06 997S and always felt my shoulders were "outside" the seat. the adaptives are the most comfotable seat i've sat in.
