It's funny how a 530 whp GTR walks away from a PDK S, yet some time ago some people were posting vids of a "600+ whp" GTR losing to a stock PDK (non S)...

Seems to me that up to 160 mph, the PDK S and the 458 are VERY close, with the edge going to the 458. An intake and tuned Z06 is faster than both up to 160.

Great video!

Dead on.

Except that GTR is making 560whp on 91, 590whp on 100 octane - dynojet, on Mustang I bet 530-550whp.

Nice share. So the Turbo was the slowest of all . Seems the 458 has the initial jump every time, difference of turbo-non turbo engine?

From what I was told by the GTR owner (and you would also know) is that he got beat by a White GTR that made 540 awhp on a Mustang Dyno. So it is safe to assume this GTR makes less than 540 awhp on a Mustang dyno, correct?

The white GTR and him were pretty close, this is also based on other runs with other cars. Either way that's what the car dynoed on a DJ, just because another GTR did more or less and then may have been faster in one run doesn't change what the car actually did on a dyno. I'm only letting you and everyone know what the car actual did on a DJ, not speculating on what it is really making.

Jedi is infamous around these parts
Yes Greg and I were close but he was slightly faster so I think I am making less than 540whp on a Mustang. I think he dyno'd 601whp and I dyno'd 596whp on the same dyno

Exactly my thoughts. So it is safe to assume that you car makes less than 540 awhp on a mustang dyno, or at least on the same dyno that the white one made the 540 on.

Great video! Definitely some surprises in there. Crazy how a Z06 with an intake can still hang with these new dual clutch cars

I think that's a fair assessment.

Thanks for posting that. The results were as expected.

Although, it wasn't really fair for the stock Turbo S, it was still entertaining.

Why hasn't your car been taking part of this intense action? Your car looks to be a very worthy competitor.

I agree, it isn't fair that the PDK S is stock, it would be nice to see a bolt on PDK S against that GTR and the others.

The Z06 is just the bargain of the century. For 40K, you can roll in style and run with modern technology all while having $700 worth of mods. It's exceptional, IMO.

^ Agreed. The sad part is (of all the cars I've contemplated purchasing as a second car), the wife will NOT okay a Corvette.
