BEST 997.2 TT PDK kit !!!

What is availibble rightnow ??? and who makes the FASTEST ONE ???

If there anything like VTG 700-750 kit on the market rightnow...

Modded VTGs, intakes, fulll exhaust, ICs and TUNE ???

Tranny Upgrades finished yet...I saw Champions doing somethiing...Evoms offering 650 kit only...

Proto and TPC have some big IC with great restults but why there ois no COMPLETE 700-750 kit yet ???

I think PDK could run LOW 10s if not 9s with 750 PS and hard launch on sticky tyres... I mean SPI 750 on Hoosler we managed 10.19 on TipS...PDK should be a bit faster if engine an dtranny will HOLD...

We need such kit...

When you say 700/750.....do you mean wheel HP, or crank? Our existing kit with billet VTG's, intercoolers, manifolds, etc...can be tuned right up to the limit of the PDK transmission, which is about 550 Wheel HP (safely). That is just about 700hp at the crank.

If that's what you're looking for, we can certainly offer it.

Not true, our PDK development car has had upgraded turbos and our full power kit since the day we took delivery in 2010. The limit of the PDK is just above 550 wheel horsepower (565 tq) and if you use the commonly accepted 20% drivetrain loss, that would be 700 crank (roughly). Our car has been running that power level for over a year. Beyond that you have to upgrade the PDK.

NITEALB is infamous around these parts
I dont want create any problems here but i'm slightly confused. i've been thinking about getting the champion kit for a couple of months now for my 2011 turbo s. However, i've noticed that with the giac tune only, there is a dyno graph showing 526whp. http://www.giacusa.com/images/dynopl...mp_program.jpg

thats a gain of roughly 50hp to the wheels. this costs around $3000. the CMS kit includes bigger turbos, intercoolers, headers, exhaust, tune and intake bits. this kit retails for $20-25k. but, it gives 550whp. so for 25-30whp more you are likely to paying at least $17k more. So, is the giac tune overrated, is the cms kit underrated, or is possible that it really costs at least $17k to get that extra 25-30whp. Or is it possible i dont understand what i've read and if so, could one of the tuners please correct me.
thanks in advance.

You are essentially correct, but also incorrect.

You see, yes our kit also includes turbos, intercoolers, headers, exhaust, etc. But what's VERY important to understand is that as it sits right now, the components of are kit are nowhere near the limitations of power that they are CAPABLE of producing. The mechanical limitation is the PDK. Our full kit is capable of producing far more horsepower then 550, but unfortunately around 550 is the limitation of the PDK and fuel system in the car. With our upgraded PDK and fuel system (which will be available soon), power output can be much higher, using the same turbos, intercoolers, headers, etc.

If you have 526 with tune then why you need all other mods when you can get extra 30 whp from use full exhaust and IC no need to moded VTGs..

Also 550 whp is more like 650-670 HP not 700 imho...

You can get around 520-530 whp with Prto tune and ICs...full exhusts and intake would bring up to 540-55o, then why do we need to use moded VTGs if we dont get more power ???

Did you finished testing you PDK upgrades ??? When can we reach 600whp that you can get from moded VTG kit...

We are intrested in ths kit bu it would be good to see some perfromance data...1/4 or 60-130

I don't think anybody has beat EVOM's 10.7 1/4 time in a PDK car yet.

Sit back and wait for the next gen PDK-S coming with the 991. Will handle more HP and torque safely.

May even appear on a run out 997 Turbo S special

i'd go for champion cause they're the most tuner that spent effort time money on developing the 997.2
