Removing steering wheel?

Anyone remove their own steering wheel? Just wondering if it is something that is easy and possible to do myself or should I have Porsche dealer remove it? I have tip with triangle shaped center. Gettiing new steering wheel or going to have mine redone possibly by Dallas Custom Steering Wheel. Anyone have work done from them?

You should consider using the DIY sticky on the top of the forum. Many of the basic DIYs for the 997 and 996 cars have really in depth threads and will help you.

Good luck!
