got mine at avis in the train station in stuttgart. I did two porsche tours thru germany and austria thru Fast Lane travel. Peter Sontag is the owner and has been doing "Treffen's" for over 30 years. The customer service I've received from him has been unmatched with anyone i've ever done business with.

You may want to give him a call and see about a custom tour, unless you prefer to make all your own arrangements.

Not really much else I can offer except to get familiar with this sign.

When you see it, depress the right pedal to the floor and keep it there until you see a sign that looks like this or similar.

That about sums it up.

Hit Bavaria, the nicest part of Germany. (Not just because my family hails from those parts)

You can rent a Porsche at Avis at the airport. Book it in advance though. Dont miss the Black forest drive, The 'Ring + visit to Manthey.

Talk to Peter Sontag for a speed tour. They will take you to parts where 320Km/h is the slow lane. And the sauer dumplings are to die for.
