2011 Turbo S Stealth Radar and Laser Jammer Install

Besides having us wrap the entire vehicle with clear bra, our client also decided to have us install the Escort 9500Ci Laser Shifter system into this car.

First off, our installations of this unit into all cars are done in a way to have it hidden best as possible without affecting its performance. Unlike many installs where the shifters are readily visible from 5' away, we place the laser shifters in the most inconspicuous of locations.

Front and rear bumpers need to come off so that we can properly mount the system. Here are the photos:

FRONT BUMPER COMES OFF

PROPER WIRING AND MATCHING OF OEM WIRE LOCATIONS REQUIRES REMOVAL OF TRUNK PANELS

Instrument cluster comes off along with various interior pieces to get the wires nicely mounted so there are no rattles, gps antenna tucked away, usb hook up readily available on driver's side, bi-color LED light installed, and to get a nice custom flush mount for the display

Outstanding. Very factory-looking. Someday they will develop a wrapping film that deflects radar/laser - a stealth-wrap.

Great work as always. My dream car is a white Turbo S

Very, very good install. I wonder how a laser jammer would work with European Police. They tend to send you to jail in some countries. Not that nice on their side.
Now I'm just noticing that you need to fill it with leather everywhere to look like it should have from the the factory (leather console, PDK, etc.). Nice!

I have the same system with a similar install. Great radar and laser protection. And the upgrades are easy to do via a lap top computer. Here are a few pics of the touch pad, digital display, front radar and rear laser difuser.

Really you just need the small LED, speaker and the button to mute it. The idea is to be stealth... All of the programming can be done with a computer or voice commands.

+1. I like the stealth install shown above. I'm going to bring my ipad to the dealer and show him how the OP had his installed.

I talked with the installer briefly and he said generally modifies the housing of the radar detector to fit into the ash tray. I don't think he does as sophisticated install as detailed above. But I'll see what he can do.

I'll also see if he will take off the nose to get the jammers in front.

Any pix of the rear laser sensor? Nice work.

If you want stealth, your installer is right. The ashtray is a better place for the control unit. All you need to see is the small LED and that can be hidden in a dozen places. The OP's install is clean, but it isn't stealth.

Mine is going into Premier for this. After doing some more research and speaking with some friends, I think it's a must do. Was on the 101 yesterday and two CHP spread out between exits. The first was just sitting there and KA popped up. I didn't gun it after, but saw the 2nd CHP on the side with a lidar gun. Whoa. Def trying diff methods to catch speeders.

Saw this install in person last week and love the entire set up. I prefer the location of where Premier put the face since it's easier to shut off in that area. Thumbs up Premier. Awesome job
