That would have been Javier's at Superior Window Tinting. Yes it did have the Evo 650 kit on it. He is a dealer for them, not for sure this one in Houston is the same though, didn't think he had white in his wheels...

I'd darn sure do a "Watch Dog" check on it.

Excellent. Then it definitely had the EVO kit on it. Javier is a good guy though. He takes great care of his cars. This one ran very well.

I looked at that car. Has a ton of mods. Looked like a big headache.

But so far there have been lots of "beholders" who share the same opinion on the wheels. Agree with you on price though - seller can price it at $200K doesn't make any difference - willing buyer and willing seller will determine the "price".

Did anyone ever confirm that this was Javier's car with a EVO 650 kit? The car is still for sale at Momentum and I'm trying to get some info and history on it.

There were comments in the thread about the car being overpriced. What was it priced at when this thread first started

Ted.
Any issues with this car to be concerned about besides the fact it has an EVO 650 kit on it? I'm not opposed to buying a modified car if it was well taken care of by the previous owner. Thanks.

Hmmm there's no mention of mods in the ad, nothing like a dealer trying to pass off a heavily modded car as stock. I would look for something with a clean history, there are plenty of cars out there, the last thing I would want is an unknown frankenturbo. I would also steer clear of Momentum...

Look at the red intake hoses. It probably still has the mods.

I personally don't think $82k is that bad a price for <15k miles if well taken care of.

I spoke to the previous owner of the car today. He says the car is in pristine condition and has no issues. He had the EVO620/650 power kit installed. I'm waiting for Momentum to send me the DME readout. The previous owner sounded like a legit guy and was very helpful on the phone.

Has anyone actually seen this car in person recently? If so, could you comment on the overall condition of the car?

When I called Momentum, they were pretty forthcoming about the fact that the car had been modified and hence the reason they couldn't CPO it. But it would be good if someone who had actually seen the car could comment on the condition. There is only so much you could tell from photos.
