So a PCM update? Do you know what version they loaded - maybe that's the common problem. I'll check my version and post later.
I had software reboot update twice last time was a couple of months ago. I'm pretty sure they put the last update in but it did not fix the problem. Either the issue comes from the PCM and therefore needs to be replaced or more likely it's a nav tv issue.

OKB is infamous around these parts
sounds like the external module, (I dont know what all the set up consists of)
or the internal IC is losing its power instantaniously when you crank up
This throws the whole system off.
Either its an engineering issue with their modification, or you ve chosen the wrong power supply for your hook up

Sorry to kind of resurrect this thread, but I got a question. Who of you that has the freezing problem has a TOOKI as well?

The reason why, is that I have realized that for some reaaaallly odd reason, when my sat locks up is when the iPod module on my iPhone decides to play the music thru the TOOKI.

Bluetooth has the ability to wirelessly transmit any data, including music from your devices. Well when my iPhone, by mistake plays music (maybe I press it in my pants who knows) while connected n the car, it will default go to the TOOKI as the speaker. When this happens ur Sat locks up and you actually get kicked out of it.

Resetting the unit, iPhone, etc... Doesn't help, you have to turn off car and let it "cycle". This is my experience with my car. I since finding out this have turned off the TOOKI and guess what? Not once has it locked up.

If you gus with the problem have the TOOKI as well, I will then bring this to Tony at NavTV and let him fix it with hopefully a fix to the TOOKI unit.

I rather have the Sat than the TOOKI but I paid for both so I rather have it fixed.

Please let me know.

I never have issues with the Tooki, but if enabled my iPhone will try to play thru it, so it locks up my Sat. Why? Dunno but I bet they might be able to turn off that "feature".

I don't have Tooki and mine will lock up occasionally. It get's so annoying sometimes I have considered chucking the whole NAVTV and PCM and getting something like Pioneer AVIC installed.

Interesting read, looks like I'll go full nav/bt/sat unit as Ruf referred to. It sounds pretty annoying.

I hate to jinx myself but I have the Nav-TV Sirius unit and iPod adaptor in an 08 (no CD changer) and haven't had any problems. Since Nav-TV is in Florida maybe you guys can get some first hand attention to your issues.
