I've had the opportunity of taking an Exige to the track and it behaves just like that, although the "screaming-japo-girl" (LOL) certainly wasn't part of my experience. I think Lotus use a Toyota engine which definitely sounds better.
....but man-o man are they explosive little go-carts. Hell of a lot of fun to drive.
