i bought my 997 gt2 at uk around june 2010 and was looking for tuner and it came out techart and 9ff ...i call them both and unfortunetely i crasched my GTR r35 while speeding and was thinking to cancel the upgrade but this rafael from 9ff was caling me saying that they have prepared everything ..ok its my fault i change my mind and have them ugrade

i spent around 45.000 euro if im not wrong and did the 700 package consist of:
turbo
conrod
cam
high performance intercooler
carbon airbox

and also i was offer to ugrade the LSD and suspension airlit

they promised its only take a week and do u know that they had my car for almost 3 month and this rafael 9ff guys always not in the office and everytime i call and need to speak to someone the lady operator said no one at the office right now and i have to fly there to german to see where is my car...

and when finnally the car is going to be export to my country i have ask them to pack all the used part like tyre,roolcage,etc so it proof that they had replace the part like LSD cost me 4000 euro if im not wrong but they did not do it they just give the car to be pick up..

and it cost me 1300 euro to ship my used part and i just received it 2 days ago but i only received 2 part wing and roolcage, it been almost 1 year they had my part and never respond email and its strange everytime i call the only lady operator who is answering and dunno nothing..

they still got my carbon airbox,safety belt ,tyre,suspension,cam,conrod

and what they promise 700 hp is bull i cant even beat gtr hks 600

i will post the dyno result and some picture

they are the worst shop i have ever deal u cant call they dont respond email too

i did ask about the maintance oil,temperature and i have never had the answer untill now and my used part ask i have paid for the shiping

trust me thats the worst thing i ever met

and about the high performance intecooler do u know what i get ?

it is not like aftermarket intercoller but the 997 turbo gen II

and the worst part they didnt give me the carbon airfilter as in the quotation

and they took my original gt2 airfilter cover

now my car have not filter cover just the air filter without cover

 

they didnt return all my part

they cannot be contact!

they ****ed me few times too.

I meet the guy here in Warsaw he just spent 65k on engine tuning.

my mechanic take care of the car now 8k kilometers after the tuning, you can believe how many ****ups he find, starting form plastic vw blow off valves, oil leak from crank sealing, not working 9ff coolers etc.

Why is there such a huge disparity in what the US tuners charge and what the European tuners charge for seemingly same increases in HP/torque?

 

Rafael , is the 9FF head sales/PR guy ,

I have dealt with him when my clutch started slipping in last years Euro trip... All the workshops i phoned told me i need to book a week in advance etc..

Rafael called me back when i inquired about there clutch and had it replaced along with the flwheel within 3 hours... He was a very nice guy , profesional etc..

but i guess from what im reading now that once they get there down payment on there big engine kits. things change...

What ever i bought from them did not work properly, and actually caused damage as well to other parts!
One thing regarding your coolers, if they put the .2tt coolers they did you a favour since they are a lot better than theirs.. They cost 1.2k euros though so they might have charged you much more for them.

Ya they are really bad and always promise and never deliver! They managed to mess up someone's TT Carrera GT here in Abu Dhabi, cant drive the car properly and their prices are sky high even when I used to get good dealer discounts!
