Really love this picture, but doubt black wheels will look good on a GT silver car.




Does anyone have a picture of a GT silver 997 TT with HRE p41's in satin charcoal?

The oroginals look really good too on GT silver so I am hesitating...

Thanks! So did I understand correctly? The color in the pictures is satin charcoal, but these are P40's?

GT3 Chuck: What did I do wrong with pics? I understood according to the reules the only forbidden pictures were promotional pictures. I had one pic from Vividracing and one pic of a car that was sold here in Finland a year ago? I have no connetion to either company.

 

I think satin charcoal wheels will look fantastic on your GT silver car.

The only problem with black rims is that, unless you are very close to the car, it looks like you have tires with a huge sidewall. It is hard to tell where the rim ends and the tire starts. I had Dymags on my car and the barrell was carbon fiber. From a distance they had that "high sidewall" look.

 

The new pilot super sport has noticeable rim protection that's angled that reduces the high sidewall look. You can even see it in the pic above now it's been pointed out.
