Sport mode engaged all the time--problems?

I like to leave the car in sport mode to get the extra boost and sound (I turn the stiffer suspension off though) whenever I'm driving. Is this bad for the engine? You would think the car should always be in sport mode to get the extra torque, unless it damages the car. By the way, I'm talking about daily commuting and getting around town.

Thanks in advance

CaptnCrash is infamous around these parts
The turbo-s is perpetually in "sport mode" as far as the tune goes, so I doubt seriously it will hurt anything. My only issue is that sport mode remaps the accelerator to be more responsive and for in town driving isn't as comfortable for me with the 6 speed manual.

I almost always do this myself...just for the quicker throttle response.

I wish you could program the car to always start that way....sport mode but stiff suspension off. I almost always drove in that mode in my '08 TT 6spd. In the '11 CTT I do the same....sport/normal.

Thanks all for the advice. Yeah, I'm a first time Porsche owner and there are certain perplexing design quirks I'm learning about, the most egregious being the airbox design (see my thread about water in the airbox after washing ). This whole extra boost sport button is funny. It's like being asked would you like your wife/gf "hot" or "plain" Hmmm...I think I'll opt for plain today

I have a 911 Turbo S and The only problem I see is some reduced MPG and when you get out of the car the smile on your face on for a while!
