Which 911 are you getting? Some colors work better than others.

For instance...Signal Green GT3 versus Signal Green Cayman

Im looking to get the 911 Turbo S. I dont care for the Cayman S green as much as I do for the GT3 RS green. Im going to be taking a trip to one of the P dealers today to see if I can get a good look at some of the regular colors and also to see if they have any customs as well.

Ive seen the GT3 RS green and orange in person and they are both great colors, IMO. This will be my DD, so it needs to be a color I feel I can like on a daily basis for a while.

Paint to Sample

You can do any color you want it is called "Paint to Sample". I would say that whatever you do do not use a picture, or your computer, as colors can very greatly. I would recommend finding a factory painted car of any brand, that you like the color. You could find the car by searching the web, then go look at one for sale, new or used. Then go to a web site like http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ and look up the paint code for that car, this way you will get what you want.

PS. if this is a cab you are building you are limited on top colors, which may or may not go with you favorite body color

Thanks for the link and info. This wont be a cab, so I wont have to worry about the top color.

Colors

In the coupe flavor, IMO Paint to sample is a great choice, as the car will be unique. Just be careful not to choose a color that is tasteful as resale could be an issue, ask the dealer their thoughts on the color as you place the order, tell them you will be trading it in in 2-3 years.
