I have 2 GoPro cameras mounted front and rear and finally figured out how to use a video editing program to produce PiP.
I was just at Sebring for a DE and this is how it looks. The cameras were mounted at the base of the windshield on the 'trunk' lid and below the rear wing on the back.

It is indeed a hotel. Chateau Elan Hotel and Conference Center is located less than 100yds away from the hairpin (turn 7). Great place to stay when visiting Sebring.
It doesn't feel like I'm going VERY fast. Street tires have a lot to do with that and I am once again considering R6's...if I can figure out how to get them to the track.
Nice job!
re the R6s, I used to run them on 18" 996TT wheels (cheap and plentiful), I had a friend bring them in his truck. Worst case they are drivable on the street, if you don't have to go far...

Very inspirational ruffy. Nice job. I really must look at the camera thing and learn how to edit. Hey how bout next time putting that rear facing camera on the dash?
.
PS You're a brave man on street tires. I bet their looking a bit second hand after that

Hey Barry, glad you were able to escape the rain. Looks like you have the two camera thing goin'. Any luck with the over lays, (speed, time, track map)?
You'll love the R6's. The braking and ride quality are phenomenal, the grip is a given.
I just flashed my car back to stock....boring! Need to get some warranty work done...then time for a little added go-go upon completion.

Anyone who's participated in a DE KNOWS how much fun they are having. I'm out there every chance I get.
If I can figure some way to get the R6's to the track, I'll be running them for sure. They make such a HUGE difference.
What's your thinking on mounting the rear facing camera on the dash? You wanna see me do a Top Gear like monologue?

Thanks. Yes I am officially 775'd...BUT I asked Todd to cool it on the torque because I was getting a sore neck when it kicked in hard AND an awful lot of wheel-spin. It really feels great on the street now.
