Just hit the 10,000 mile mark

I guess I don't drive my car enough! I just hit 10k miles.

Of all my cars, it still gets the most thumbs ups, people racing up to take pics and vids, etc. With all the Porsches in my area, it still gets so much attention.

So 4 years in and 10,000 miles...it feels like I just bought it yesterday. The car is still perfect and a blast to drive.

The custom mods I did saved the day though...I would have sold it long ago if I hadn't done the mods.

I can't really imagine ever selling it...and am stunned at how cheap they are listed for. Someone can pick one up so inexpensively...do some minor mods and have a car that still blows away just about anything on the road.

I guess that's about it...I just can't believe it's been 4 years already!

justin, 4 years ago for me last week. I'm approaching 50,000 miles though - you should be ashamed

I agree 100% with you. the mods are great and i don't ever see myself selling it. To much of a financial hit. I may as well just keep it, and add something to it.

Congrats Justin.....13k on mine and counting, finally had it tuned by Protomotive and all I can say is WOW. These cars definitely need a few mods just to keep them fresh.

I think I'm going to pay you a visit to see that wicked 458 you have there.....
That thing must be insane

My car is cracking 12k miles in the next few drives. When I sent my oil sample to blackstone at 9.5k miles last summer. They told me the engine is still breaking in. lol

Picked up my '07 tt a few weeks ago with just over 6k miles on it! Love it!

Off to the Swiss Alps next month to give it a proper workout.

you've got some awesome cars to choose from on a daily basis, do you have a wheel of fortune spinning wheel to help decide which one to drive on any given day?

My baby is almost at the 15k mark. But it's the ONLY good choice in my garage.

lol i bought my car december 2009 with 10k miles flat.

I am at almost 30k now.

I **** on all of you.(in least disrespectful way posible)

Jokes aside, i tuned the car around 20k miles, and got catless fvd exhaust since 15k miles.

Car is still running like a champ!

now the real modding begins! just ordered 997.2 intercoolers, and 65mm turbos are to be ordered soon

Hmm, let me think. The only issues I can think of was the clutch slave, which is pretty common. Also, a couple of months after taking delivery the car went into limp mode on my street. turned out to be a bad crank (or cam, can't remember) sensor. That's really about it. Had a piece of CF trim replaced.

Mind mentioning the most important mods to do besides exhaust. I have the Europipe exhaust and Fabspeed headers. Sounds great. Anything besides chipping or reprogramming ECU that you would rec that wouldn't be damaging to the car? And yes these cars are for the most part the fastest and meanest beast out there on the road mods or no mods.

My 2007 just turned 5000 miles...I admit, it is a garage queen and goes out on weekends only, Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California a weekend routine. Looks and smells brand new and I like it that way. I drive a SUV as a daily driver and I look forward to driving the beast on the weekends
