I learn something new every day. I never realized that it was an actual option on ROW cars.

From other websites, it does not appear to be very difficult to retrofit...but not sure if you want to do it.

As far as your other concern, 1.4 peak boost should not be a problem.

 

I'd go with Softronic... what I'm using. Obviously there's something to be said about going local, however if you are worried about import costs there are none, Other than for a $150 dollar cable that will be sent to you. Everything else is done on line. The flash is read off by you and then the files sent over and once they have been tuned the flash files are sent back to you with your original files - Allows you to go back to stock any time. No hardware crosses borders.

If you check the discussion forums there are quite a bit that talk about the Softronic Tune. One of them is a thread I started. I've had no issues other that when trying to read the file (but it was due to an old cable). Scott from Softronic is a very helpful guy and we got it sorted out in a few days.

BTW: Softronic reports 80hp at the crank!
