Question for remote locking

Does the alarm on the TT give an audible chirp when locking with the remote? Or is there a way to set it up?

No - have to buy an aftermarket module to get the chirp. Search.

It's only supposed to chirp if something is wrong, if everything is okay it's silent.

SmartTop if you have a cab

I love my smarttop so much I took it out of my 997.1 TT cab and put it into my 997.2 TT cab.

It fixes the accidental trunk opening, chirps when you lock or unlock, remote top opening, etc.

Check the PCM manual. You should be able to turn this off.
