Techart Installed

Just got my Turbo back from the shop with a fewTechart components installed. I'm loving the look but having a tough time with the wheels. Sort of a love/hate scenario. I almost feel as though they make the car appear 'dated'. Would love hear some reccomendations or opinions. Sorry for the poor quality pics.

Thumbs up

I actually like how the wheels look on your car - a bit of a retro look and for some reason reminds me a 993. I like the smooth curves of these wheels better than edgy/busy look of some other aftermarket wheels.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. By the way, the add on wing was ordered from Misha.

I like the wheels...actually was looking at this style some time ago.

One of my concerns was the weight over style. I believe they are a little heavier than the stock wheels.

Either way your ride looks great!

I am a huge fan of techart body kits...love mine...but I really don't like their wheels at all.

some may say dated sure, but on the other hand its a classic look if you know what I mean. Personally I would not go that route due to the weight, If spending $$ I'd always go lighter then factory.

TA wheels

I love the classic 5 spoke TechArt wheels. They're very clean and the open spokes let the red calipers show. I also love how it compliments the rest of the TA body parts.

The standard silver wheel is a little boring today. I would paint them black or gunmetal, and the brake calipers speed yellow. It would be a great contrast on a speed yellow car!

I think the car looks great. I like the TA wheel design. Its got a classic look to it. The weight of the wheels would be the only thing that would bother me.

Since the 911 body is very classic looking (no matter if 993, 996, 964, 997...) I think the wheels are perfect for your car.
