997 cpo

I am looking at an 07 997tt with 20k on the clock. Dealer says it can't be CPOed because it has aftermarket rim and springs. Is this true? Should I keep looking or just go with an aftermarket warranty they sell?

In my experience that is accurate, they won't CPO a vehicle with mods, etc. As for the extended warranty, I would get one. You can find MANY posts about this very question. Some go both ways...about the cost, versus the reliability, who will honor the warranty, etc. I purchased an aftermarket warranty from the dealer right before my factory warranty expired.

Whether you keep searching depends on exactly what you're looking for. Some prefer to find a modded vehicle that passes inspection, as it's the setup they want and somebody else already invested the $$$. Some prefer stock w/cpo and want to be the first and or leave it alone.

Lots of variables as I'm sure you know.
