Will a 325/30/19 fit on a 19x12 wheel and H&R springs? Time to pick up new tires.

It depends on the offset of the wheels, I'm currently running 325/30/19 on my car with H&R springs but the wheels were design for the wide body TT and are 19x12, btw it is a pain in you know where to get tires on that size.
Make sure you run 245/35/19 on the front or it would not look right.

The GT2 and GT2RS use 325/30/19 and 235/35/19 tires stock.

With the right wheel that should be no problem. I even seen guys use 19x13's with 345's.....crazy, yes...but possible.

It's our 997tt. The car already has wheels just replacing tires. I currently have 235/35 up front ps2

I would recommend sticking with the 305. If you change the rear size 325, there's just no way to adjust the front size so that you're within an acceptable size variance. It could potentially hurt the diff.

Tom,
I respectfully disagree with you, 325/30/19 and 245/35/19 are within the tolerances of the 997TT AWD system.
Lots of people running this setup without any ill results.

That combo is an option, but it would provide roughly 3.45% difference in overall rolling diameter. You wouldn't get any immediate warning signs that something's wrong, but (in theory) it would accelerate wear on the diff.

This site is a good resource for double checking tire sizes...

Tom,

The diameter difference is 1.77% rear and 1.09% front which is good enough considering that you at 100% only with new tires.

Try 335s on back tires.

Here is an excellent discussion about wheel size and the AWD differential:

But remember, it's the overall diameter of the front and rear in relation to each other that makes the difference. Stock, rear tires are about 1.5% taller then the fronts, so the factory differential can operate with excessive stress on the clutches. With a 325 in the rear and a 235 still in the front, the difference becomes 4.5% (roughly), at which point it becomes a roll of the dice.

Check the chart out...the difference in going to a 325 is actually pretty big.
