2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder
Thanks for posting the pics.
It's kind of odd, in my opinion, to create a model of car and make it a limited edition named after another completely different model. It'd be like if Audi made a TT that was an "R8 GT edition," or a Ford Focus that was a "Boss 302 edition" -I think most reactions would be... "huh?"

Is it not true that this is just another "value" edition? As this will have all the extra carbon trims as standard plus some other "goodies" for the same low price of a base TT-S. (aka 911 Black edition and Carrera GTS) I don't mind the silly color for the $10k discount.
Parts bin exercise. Use up what's left before the next gen vehicle rolls into production.
As stated above, when Porsche has resorted to calling a coupe a "spyder edition," all I can do is sigh.
