Is'nt that the Switzer 997 that did very well at the Moscow race?
Something seems amiss here.
I just have a hard time believing a 1000 CRANK hp car would pull that R911 like that. I'm speculating here but I would guess the R911 would be 800-900 RWHP...which would put him near 1000 crank HP.
I think the most likely explanation is that the Proto car is making 1000 WHP...which would explain it pulling a 850ish (?) WHP car like that. 996 weighs less and the 997 is Tip so it makes sense. That is one fast 996...would like to hear what is has, assuming 3.8 etc etc.

I watched the video 3 times, having in mind how fast R911 is I cannot think of something on wheels which can equally compare to this Protomotive 996. I think UGT has no chance against this 996.
Mike is that you? Tell us something about the race

Both SUPER fast cars. Will be interesting to see that Proto car up against a UGR TT Gallardo. But keep in mind, some of those UGR cars are putting down well over 1200hp at the wheels. So might not be as close as we think, especially if it's up against a guy who doesn't care about blowing up his car and just runs at full boost. Some of those cars are capable of ridiculous times. But in my opinion are ticking time bombs for longevity when run hard and often. But run on lower boost and cared for, can be pretty good engines that still deliver a lot of power.
