Pankl makes several compounds but as far as I have read none that are 100% titanium. What compound are yours?

And your calibrated hands could tell the difference between the 2 based on a small number of grams. Apothecaries worldwide may want to hire you instead of buying a scale.
You've got what looks like a nice car but trying to **** on Champion's accomplishment here is not cool.

We have used Pankl titanium rods in many race applications before, and while they are indeed extremely strong and light, they are lifed-out at about 48 hours. I doubt anyone owning a street car is willing to open their motor and replace rods every 48 hours.

What Champion has done is good for everyone on this forum. Carrillo in the past had been using connecting rods that where designed to be used on the 996. They pushed and pushed until Carrillo saw the light and what Champion was trying to accomplish. You now have rods that are bonafide 997 rods.

Keep in mind that titanium rods have a very short life expectancy.

I would rather have this in my car as described on the CP Carrillo/Mahle website: Straight H-Beam The stoutest beam configuration available. It is capable of handling the most abusive forces in an engine.
