Have a question regarding order for Turbo S vs California...
How often are you planning to drive it? I used my tt as a daily driver for 6 months and Porsches are just much more user friendly for frequent use than other exotics. I would also think a lot about your pretentiousness concerns. I live in a large city (Dallas) and my business partner only kept his Ferrari for about 4 months. He said that no matter what he did you always felt like a ****** (for lack of a better word) whenever you pulled up and got out of the car. I know that will upset some people, it was just the way he felt. Probably would feel different if we lived on the west coast or somewhere where Ferraris are much more prevalent...
I owned an Aston Martin and hated the attention the car got at times. I felt almost bad enjoying the car and a strange guilt. Can't really explain it.
Now, I have the TTS and do not feel like that at all. I'm driving an exotic car, but it almost blend with most people. I've had stares, but nothing like the AM. I love my car, and enjoy everything about it.

I almost have to agree with your wife. The AM is a beautiful car. A Ferrari is also very sexy and exotic looking, and the porsche is beautiful in it's own right but nothing like the cars just mentioned. They definitely got the look down. Now, the AM did not drive like a Porsche. There really is no substitute.
Has the Cayenne arrived already-seems like we were discussing that yesterday. Mine is for the TTS, can't go wrong. Been a dream to own so far, the swoosh of the turbos and the everyday usability. Compact and fun to drive, hit the sport button and it feels like she's had a serious nip and tuck and is ready to go!
Cheers,
Cheers,
The CTT came on Saturday. Absolutely love it. The Espresso/Cognac is AMAZING. Love the Burmester. Definite improvement in quality control and build (which is saying alot as my 2011 was bullet proof) from 2011. The PCCB are great. Stopping is even better than my 2011 and it was great.
Yours here yet? Post some pics of that TTS. Love seeing move pics convincing me to stay with where I should be...
Now, next question would be Center Locks of Turbo II wheels?

turbo. the california's will not hold their value well over the next 5 years. porsche's with the exception of base carrera/s hold their value exceptionally well. not to mention it's cheaper and better in every single objective way. styling...subjective but i've never purchased a car based on looks, as you can tell from my sig.

Update: just noticed the board auto-edited my post and replace a word with asterisks. Let's just say that he felt like a device used by women to squirt water for hygienic purposes... lol

I for one don't like ALL of the attention you get when you drive around in a Ferrari. Seems like everyone and their bro know that it is an expensive bit of kit. The Porsche of the other end can afford you some anonymity. For they are much more common, at least the shape of the car. And it only seems like those in the know can pick out the Porsches that are truly special.
If I were to get a Ferrari it would be something far older and with some stature. Something I could flip in a hurry and make all my money back. Again something where the depreciation curve is as flat as a Hemi Engine.
I have decided to get the TT S. Order being completed now. Checking on the leather bits and production ETA.
Went with center locks.
Hopefully will be here around Christmas time.
