Have a question regarding order for Turbo S vs California...
I got the Centerlocks, they look sick. I also did not know at the time but the big advantage of the ceramic brakes is that they hardly dust at all!
Welcome to the family!
Cheers,
I also saw a GTS white with Black center locks at the dealer-Looked good but not for me.
I have ordered the vehicle as so:
Carrara White (although thinking about Meteor Grey or Atlas Grey)
Cognac leather seats
Black leather full interior
Black stitching for contrast to seats
Cognac stitching for dash, console, doors
Center locks
Park Assist
Leather A/B/C pillars
Voice Control
Leather headliner (although may stick with Alcantara as I love the way it feels)
Headlight cleaning painted exterior color
Clear tailights
Ventilated Seats
Heated Seats
XM
Porsche Crests
Total 173,880 before my discount.
So, what does everyone think? Stick with the Carrara White? Atlas is a lot like Grigio Silverstone on the Ferrari, and Cognac like Cuoio. Both of which I love.
Was thinking about swapping the center locks at some points for some dark grey HRE's.

My friend. Color is all personal taste. I just think there are a lot of colors going on in there. Unless you saw the car setup like that I would simplify the color pallet. I have a carrera white cab natural gray full leather and black top. That may bore you to tears but it really works. My brother has a GT silver with natural gray and black top. It works. Colors are very personal but with cars like this you also have to consider that some day you may want to get the new body and some combos are harder to unload gracefully.
I would add clear side markers. Cost like 40 bucks at the dealer.
If you want some pic you can search my threads and you will see my car.
I am not trying to rain on your day but rather get you sure about your decision. Most of all I don't know you and you don't know me. I just wanted to add my opinion to get you thinking. If you are sure go for it and enjoy it. It is a special car and it never fails to keep me smiling.
Love the white dont change it. It is very sharp.

i agree with the above. black/cognac and cognac/black in the same (very small) space will appear quite busy, and like a snickers bar. it's unique to the point that you might have trouble with resell which you even said, you only plan on keeping the car a couple of years.
What about just straight cognac seats and black leather trim. Stay away from the stitching.
I wasn't really big on it anyway, and was a dealer recommendation. Might just do cognac stitiching on the steering wheel.

i think if you get cognac seats with black interior and cognac stitching on all the black parts (or even cognac seats with black interior and black stitching on the cognac seats) that would be fine. but the mixed contrast stitching is what throws it to being over the top.
White is right, and grey is classy. Either one is a win. I too like the center lock wheels but when I considered changing them to HRE's in the future I realized the HRE's that fit centerlocks do not look anywhere as nice as their normal wheels. Check them out to see what I mean, especially some P40's. The centerlock p40 are ugly imo.
And I have to agree with those about all the stuff you are doing to the interior. I like contrast stitching but all that leather on the pillars and everything else your spending money on, when this is an outgoing model, is going to net you an extra 10k of depreciation loss.
