Engine stalling
A friend of mine had a clutch kit with lightweight flywheel fitted a few weeks ago.

The problem is when you dip the clutch to come to a standstill the revs drop really quickly and the engine stalls. It doesnt do it everytime but it happens a few times a week he says.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows what is happening to cause this or has anyone had the same experience.

the flywheel's purpose is to maintain engine revs and prevent stalling when the revs drop. He can get his ECU reprogrammed for a slightly higher idle speed which usually cures this.

Quick fix: You could simply switch the aircon off, that will take some of the load off the engine and prevent stalling with a LWFW

happened to me alot when i first got my lwfw. did a tune and it cut it down by 90 percent.
