Front end looks Fast sitting still. I can sorta get used to it.

I hear from the grapevine that 991TT will now be formally released at the March 2012 Auto Show and go on sale later in the year (first deliveries late summer/early fall). Makes me think strongly about passing on the 2012 TTS Coupe on order (Nov. build date and probably one of the last coupes produced) and switching order to the 991TT (my 997.1TT lease is up in June 2012). New 991TT will also have an improved PDK tranny among other goodies.

 

I so would have not upgraded to the 991. It looks too much like the old one. Still looks nice =)

 

Looks great other than that dreadful brown colour and that odd obtrusive looking piece of board stuck on top of the roof . The changes are subtle enough yet still distinguish it as a newer model. I think 997's roof looks way better opened.

 

A few new pics from today. Agreed the overall look retains a 997 feel (despite the increased size), which I take as positive.
