I love the HRE and Champion wheels and I would by FAR pick them over any wheel from ADV. But the problem is that they lack concavity. The OP said he is looking for a Concave wheel and unfortunately the HRE and Champion wheels pictured pretty much lack concavity altogether.

Wow this is an excellent point that I haven't thought of. Is that for sure regarding total weight being the same (you've checked the math?)? I will quote this from now on.

I do have one thing to add about disadvantage of 19: Assuming overall tire+rim diameter is the same for both 19 and 18, 19 has thinner tire and that means less compliance, and harsher ride.

Increase front tire width and keeping rear width the same DECREASES understeer.

Increase rear tire width and keeping front width the same DECREASES oversteer. Similarly interesting info could be seen on post 179 of this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/997-turbo-gt2/136096-pics-review-my-bilstein-pss10-lowered-red-turbo-12.html

Potenza RE050A 18s on Tech1 110s in 18s.

235/40R18 26 lbs
295/35R18 32 lbs
18x8.5 is 15.3 lbs
18x12 is 19.3 lbs

Total weight = 185 lbs

Same combo, in 19s
235/35R19 24 lbs
295/30R19 31 lbs
19x8.5 17.5 lbs front
19x12 20.1 lbs rear

Total weight = 185.2 lbs

Looks like a wash - although this is only one example...and as you know, tire weights vary tremendously. Biggest difference that I found were the number of choices in 18s versus 19s. When you start picking wider tires in 18s, the numbers will fluctuate again.

a lot of these options are not concave - am I missing something? That is what the OP was asking for...? Some of these non-concave options are awesome looking though...

That very same brand can easily come back by paying off those they own.

DPE, D2 Forged, Iforged, COR, and Rennen all have great concave offerings. We have had great success with Rennen wheels and the concavity with the "extreme concave" line is incredible. Check out this BMW F10 build we did with Rennen R7Mesh extreme concave wheels:

We are the exclusive vendor on here for Rennen wheels. Feel free to contact us if interested

They have and still choose not to let them on here. Trust I've already been down this road. We have been carrying this brand since Day 1.

This is still my favorite wheel from them.
