Porsche used to only come out with the S version of the Turbo at the end of the model run. A way to get people to buy when they know the new model will be out shortly. I think Porsche has figured out another way to get more money out of us. The Panamara has only been around for a few years and there is already a Turbo S. I have read there will be a Turbo S version of the Cayenne soon and it just came out in 2011.

I love the car and the only thing I really wish is that I could give it more seat time. This car for me, was the best car for my needs. I looked at the California and it was not for me, the Masseratti Cab and it was also not for me. When I slipped onto the 911 TTS and fired it up, I just knew. This was it.

There are backseats, but really for grear or little kids. I am 6'2" and nobody sits behind me. The car can easily be a DD and if you drivew it mello, it is as refined as any car I have ever driven. Hit sport and stomp on it and it is at home cutting through the twisties.

I have driven almost everyting in the class before pulling the trigger and in my opinion, this is the best car. I was looking for Power, Performance, reliability, functionality (some storage) and durability. Drive everything and then it will be clear to you what is right for you.

Not sure where your located but I suggest test driving the cars outside of LI. There is nowhere to get them up to speed around here. Westchester, CT, even NJ. I needed an extended test drive to check the car out. I could not evaluate the car in LI traffic and it is still a problem today. Car wants to run but there is nowhere to run? I am not tracking this car, but do enjoy airing it out.

Your salesman is Key-I have a great guy on LI if you are interested. It was my best car buying experience to date. The after sales support has also been great-had and still have alot of questions. If you search this forum you will see the build and pre and post purchase prep of the car.

Good Luck and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

Looks like a found a car. 2011 with 4k miles. Will end up something like $20k off MSRP. Absolutely perfect condition. A color to die for (paint to sample).

Just have to work out the trade of the 430. I'll miss that car but I think this will be better for me.

Yes, the backseats are a bonus for me. Have have a 5 year old and a 9 year old. They should fit ok back there. I am 5' 7" (on a good day LOL) The little one can go behind me.

I am unsure what to do with the Boxster Spyder. It is truly exceptional but I fear it won't get much use.
