I bought my tts with 4000 miles a couple of months ago, but it's a coupe. Great car.

My last turbo was a coupe so I figure I would try out a cab this time.

The car just didn't fit our lifestyle. Seems like no matter where we were going, there was a reason why I couldn't take it. Parking, too ostentatious, etc. I don't want to own something I can't use. I've owned probably 25 Porsches since my first in 1979, including 5 turbos, and never felt uncomfortable driving them or worried about where I was going to park it - it is insured. In spite of all this, I did feel bad seeing it being loaded on a truck.

Agreed. Of course if I remembered your original post #4 I would not have asked again. LOL. So true. Can't take that one a lot. Nice car though!

I assume that you checked the fit of the backseat with your kids? I also swapped my 2-seater for the 911 due to the backseats. But the forward angle of the backrests in the rear of the cab made it slightly less roomy/comfy in the back (compared with the coupe).

But who cares that much when you're in the driver's seat .

Yeah, I did notice that. The coupe seats definitely allow more room. They can handle it

yes, they have a sensor that measures reduced back pressure and subsequently pulls timing to protect the motor. Can be tuned out of it, but why, maybe there is a good reason. They have actually engineered it to be mod-unfriendly.
Enjoy the car, they are fast ad hell.

Yes, there were a few threads a while back, it's even on the fvd website.
Honestly, the car doesn't need anything, it's a perfect DD.

I agree with the above post. The car is near perfect as you are going to get for a DD. I agree that the exhaust note could be on the mire aggressive side, but the TTS on sports mode is a good compromise imho. That's why my car is on sports mode 80% if the time.

That info is incorrect, there is no exhaust backpressure sensor at all.

Besides the timing isn't pulled either, its the VTG turbochargers that regulate the maximum power output.
